Lehlabile Mugwena gets awarded for participation in a national youth camp through SayPro.

One of our beneficiaries Lehlabile Mugwena rejoices after receiving a certificate for participating in the National Youth Camp hosted by the Department of Social Development  in partnership with NGOs.

The camp was started in 2012 to promote social cohesion, encourages young people to be change agents and be leaders in their own communities. The National Youth Camp which is held under the theme, “Unity in action, Youth Action Propelling South Africa Forward” will be attended by 1 000 young persons from across the country’s nine provinces.

SayPro believes that by working together we can change the mindsets of young people like Lehlabile, through our empowerment programs by proving training and skills.

We are a youth development organization that empowers the youth through up-skilling them to recognize and utilize the opportunities that are around, we do this by providing skills, information and joint-community ventures. This in done under a structured program-model called “Poverty2Jobs”.
