Condom Promotion

We provide advisory, education and distribution and the use of condoms to protect Adolescent Girls and young Women girls and young women against HIV and Sexually transmitted infections.

Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP)

We promote Adolescent Girls and young Women girls and young women who are HIV negative to consume or use HIV prevention drugs to protect against them getting HIV.

HIV Testing and Counselling Linkage

We provide information, education and referral to Adolescent Girls and young Women girls and young women to conduct regular testing.

Family Planning Promotion

Southern Africa Youth Project provide family planning education to Adolescent Girls and young Women girls and young women to ensure that they take preventative measures to protect themselves from early and unplanned pregnancies.

Sexual Transmitted Infection (STI) Prevention Education

We provide STI prevention programmes to Adolescent Girls and young Women girls and young women to enable them to protect themselves against getting infection.

HIV Post Exposure Prohylaxis (PrEP)

Southern Africa Youth Project provides education and support to Adolescent Girls and young Women girls and young women to visit clincs for drugs after having sex with someone they suspect might be HIV positive.

Sexual Education on Violence in Schools (SeVis)

Southern Africa  Youth Project provides Sexual Education programmes for girls and boys in School. This is to ensure that we address violence against girls and boys in schools

Sexual Education for Men who have sex with ME (MSM)

Southern Africa Youth Project works with Lesbians, Gays, Transgender, Bisexuals and Intersexual (LGBTI) with education on protecting themselves against infection, STI and violence.

We promote girls and boys to delay having sex until they are mentally and physically ready.

We provide sex negotiation skills to Adolescent Girls and young Women girls and young women to enable them to negotiate condom, pregnancy, and sexual ethics.

Sexual Reproductive Rights

We provide education to Adolescent Girls and young Women girls and young women to conduct family planning or decide if whether they would like to be pregnant or not with their sexual partners.

Our Work

Southern Africa Youth project provides health and welfare services to Adolescent Girls and young Women girls and young women to decrease sexual risk, reduce number of pregnancies, reduction of Adolescent Girls and young Women girls and young women who are HIV positive, reduce maternal mortality, decreased unplanned pregnancies, reduce rates of violence and increase empowerment of Adolescent Girls and young Women girls and young women.

Challenges

Adolescent Girls and young Women girls and young women in cities, townships and rural areas of Southern Africa faces similar challenges. As an experimentation age we see Adolescent Girls and young Women girls and young women dying in large numbers due to infection from diseases, malnutrition, sexual transmitted infection, early pregnancy birth.
