Kagiso Mostileng is 27 years of age, born and bred in burgersfort in Limpopo.

Like many Kagiso had it difficult growing as people treated him like and outsider due to the fact that he is physically-impaired and so people would call him names and make fun of him.

Many would talk of how much of a disabled person but because he believed in himself, he did not let people’s degrading comments and remarks keep him down. He kept on believing in himself until he met the Founder & CEO of Southern Africa Youth Project whom unlike many treated Kagiso with respect and humility, that is when his life changed.

Kagiso then relocated to Diepsloot a township in the far north of Johannesburg where he then enrolled for training programs at Southern Africa Youth Project under Life skills, Wholesale & Retail and End User Computing of which he has now completed and has issued with certification for.

A young man that was ones judged and ridiculed by his peers has now been trained and works part-time for a hardware company called Zubuntu Management Pty (Ltd) and volunteers at Southern Africa Youth Project where assists in the programs department and shares his story with the youth to inspire and instill hope in their lives.

Kagiso closed in saying that ” he would like to thank the team of Southern Africa Youth Project for they have indeed “changed the way he thinks about himself”.
