When you think of the word ‘senior’, what comes to mind? For many, it is a person who has come to terms with slowing down, knows what they want, and is more comfortable in their skin. They are no longer on the conveyor belt of life but have decided to take charge of their future. This is the story of Alexandra.

20 years old and already feeling like an adult is just unheard of these days. But not for her! This 20-year-old South African girl has so much ahead of her that she doesn’t even have time to feel regret or be sad about anything. With her new found confidence and wisdom, she is ready to take on the world and make a difference wherever she goes.

What is the definition of a sure shot way to motivate and inspire youth?

Turning them into true leaders.

The Southern Africa Youth Project has done just that, inspiring and motivating the next generation of South Africa to take on the world. With programs that span every subject under the sun, they are cinching a new generation with global awareness, social skill development, and soft skills such as communication and collaboration.

Youth programs are delivered in schools by the project’s leaders located across South Africa who have years of experience working with youth. These programs help prepare students for life after high school, giving them a competitive edge when applying for universities all over the globe. From leadership skills to coding classes, these programs are designed to give students the tools they need to succeed in today’s changing job market.

Youth development is important for a nation’s future, so SANYP aims to help young South Africans take charge of their lives through empowerment programs.

Our unique programme teaches leadership skills while also empowering participants to make positive change in their own lives and communities. Participants attend classes in a variety of subjects, including financial literacy, communication skills, and life skills. They also get to participate in exciting activities that help build confidence and provide them with the tools they need to succeed.

SANYP has seen great success over the years and we hope to continue helping young people reach their full potential. We invite you to join us!
