We ask what does it mean to receive the MTN Award for Social Change 2020
Southern Africa Youth Project was established in 2005 by Neftaly Malatjie
Winning the MTN Award for Social Change 2020 it is an honour for us as an organisation as our Chief Executive Officer Neftaly Malatjie is a good researcher.
He leads a dynamic team at Southern Africa Youth Project who goes into areas where people would not want to go.
They come up with young people who are innovative, creative and have lost hope.
With his patience, he moulds these young people until they become what they never thought they could be.
Another example is Hakeem Phiri a young boy who aspires and loves Technology. Was selected after his mom passed away in 2018.
He is now the ambassador for Southern Africa Youth Project doing videos, graphics, web development, coding, programming and pictures.
