Southern Africa Youth Project enables young people to reach their potential.

Education is key in shaping the future of South Africa but most lack the means to access it. Southern Africa Youth Project offers a range of training programs that help young people make informed career choices, get job searching skills and find employment opportunities.

We have been offering free education since 2005 and more than 90% of our beneficiaries have been able to get sustainable jobs. This is done under a structured-program called “Poverty2Jobs”.

Program 1: Life skills (Career Guidance, Jobs Searching and work successive skills).

Program 2: Wholesale & Retail training ( Cashier, Waiter & Customer service).

Program 3:  Entrepreneurship

Program 4: IT ( End User Computing and Instruction into Programming).

Upon completion of training, the youth are then assisted in applying for jobs.

This is how we “change the young people think about themselves”.
