Re-Integrating Ex-Offenders back into the Society

Southern Africa Youth Project in partnership with Second Chance. Implemented a 2-year Programme to reintegrate offenders into the Society.

The Programme has been implemented in partnership with organisations in Lithuania, Vietnam, Peru and South Africa.

The Programme included:

  • Capacity Building and Training Workshops held in Vietnam.
  • Visiting Prisons in Johannesburg and Pretoria City in South Africa.
  • Visiting local non-profit organisations serving prisoners in South Africa.
  • Visiting Juvenile Deliquency Stations in Peru.
  • Visiting drug lords in Peru.
  • Hosting local conferences, serminars and work readiness Programmes for Ex Offenders.
  • Provision of training to over 1 000 youth in Africa, Europe and Asia.
